What is Illness?
According to Hippocrates disease is not an entity, but a fluctuating condition of the patient's body, a battle between the substance of disease and the natural self-healing tendency of the body.
A normal healthy person carries around in their system a range of bacterial, fungal and viral infections sufficient to kill them several times over, and yet does NOT become ill! This is in part because we evolved in conflict with all of these "nasties" and our immune systems learnt long ago to cope with them. It is also in part due to the fact that a vital and healthy person with a fully functional immune system can easily throw off and overcome new challenges and it's only when a person becomes stressed or run-down that their vitality falls and with it their resistance to disease.
When a person is exposed to repeated stresses and their immune system repeatedly challenged, it ultimately flags leaving their body with reduced defences which ultimately succumb to illness/disease.

Modern Science
Modern science has enabled very precise pharmaceutical medicines to be developed which deal with most specific diseases. These can be enormously effective and help the immune system overcome one particular form of infection or another, but in the final analysis it is the immune system which must eradicate/overcome the cause of the illness and its consequences. By saving millions of lives modern medicine has done mankind a great service, but as with every breakthrough in medical technology there is a price to pay and a good example of this is the overuse of antibiotics which has brought about vigorous antibiotic resistant bugs by which nature seeks to redress the balance. There have also emerged diseases which do not respond or respond poorly to a pharmaceutical approach (Aids, cancer, MRSA, and etc.) and thus today wise people are tending to look beyond pharmaceutical medicine in an effort to maintain good health.
Fitness, good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle are all now seen as positive contributions toward maintaining a healthy immune system and it is to complement and supplement these that NEVERILL-POTENTATE has been developed as a method of further strengthening the immune system and the immune system response.

New Immune System Challenges
The immune system is very powerful when we're young but tends to decline gradually as our body ages.
